Ground Breaking Ceremony

March 13, 2006, Florida's Franklin County School District held the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new consolidated school. The Board and Superintendent were pleased with the large number of attendees. Attending were the District Office Directors and Staff and School Administrators.

In addition to the many Franklin County Teachers and Staff, those present included Constitutional Officers of Franklin County, Representative Will S. Kendrick, several retired School Board Employees, and members of the community. Representing Clemons, Rutherford & Associates were Dan Rutherford and Greg Kelly. Peter Brown Construction Management Company was represented by John Stewart and other company employees.

A cheer came from the crowd as the first shovels of dirt were thrown.

Lunch served at the site was provided by Peter Brown Construction Company and prepared by Franklin County District Volunteers.
